As the sun sets over Eagans Close at the end of another school year, here's one last outing for the "O" word… your efforts as parent/carer volunteers this year have been OUTSTANDING. You have raised £15,446 for our school.
Outstanding barely covers it.
Alongside the "O" word, let's hear it for the "K" word, too…
This tiny parent community of ours, where EVERYONE has to contribute much more than they are often able to commit. Overstretched you all bake and cook and sell and organise and nag and beg for funds – as well as volunteering for stalls and coming to meetings. Then you work to pay the bills, keep the house going, get the kids to school scrubbed and fed having helped them do their homework. And on top of all that you can have a nice sit down to… READ THE BL@*!Y NEWSLETTER!!!!!!!!
Is it any wonder you're knackered?
But then look what you've done… £15,000+. It's an incredible amount for such a small group of people.
You are amazing.
Have a great summer everyone.

Mrs Kimani's Letter to The HTSA
A letter from Mrs Kimani our Acting Head Teacher for 2015/16
Thanks to the HTSA!
This year you have raised a wonderful £15,000.
I'm greatly looking
forward to working with all the parents who volunteer with the HTSA next year on your fundraising events.
The fundraising work
done by such organisations as the HTSA is going to become increasingly more
important to the school over the next few years, so keep up the good work!
I'm also looking
forward to directing the funds that you have raised in the direction of the
children! I'm particularly keen on refreshing our computer equipment, providing
Kindles to help reading and buying new climbing equipment focusing on EYFS
(Early Years Foundation Stage) first.
Have a great summer
holiday everyone!
Mrs Kimani

The Head Teacher’s End of Term Letter to the HTSA
Our Head Teacher Mr Bowden writes…
Dear Parents & Carers,
It has been a great privilege to work with the HTSA this year – as it has been to work with all the committee members and parents during my time here at Holy Trinity School.
The total raised this year – a record-breaking £14,984.50 – is a figure that you should all be very proud of.
But I believe that the HTSA is about more than the money: it's about parents getting together, socialising, building a community and creating a positive atmosphere at the school. That has certainly been my experience of the HTSA this year and it has been great to see so many different parents mucking at the various events.
I wish you all good luck with your fundraising efforts next year.
Mr Bowden
Wow. Would You LOOK AT THIS NUMBER!
There will be thanks to follow. And a breakdown of the figures, too. But in the meantime, this is the figure that YOU have raised this year so far…

Ask Me What I Did Post 01:07:15
HUGE thanks this week go to Luca's granddad. Luca's mum is Catherine and Catherine's dad bought a cup of tea at the KS1 sports day yesterday. Not only that but he paid DOUBLE the going rate – that's £1! AND he offered to pay for the free biscuits too!
Our usual practise is to announce all HTSA takings here on this website with a great flourish – and yesterday's refreshments stall is no different. Hang on to your hats…
As you can see granddad's contribution allowed us to SMASH through the £5 barrier!
